We are looking for a Junior Marketing Manager ready to grow in a hands-on, high-responsibility role, supporting business development and working directly with our CEO on essential initiatives.

 

The Role

As a Junior Marketing Manager at Hunter Marketing, you’ll work directly with the CEO to drive business development, develop proposals, and support ongoing client campaigns. This role is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented marketer looking for an opportunity to learn the ropes of agency management and strategy development. With exposure to high-level projects and mentorship from executive leadership, this role serves as a gateway into a Marketing Manager position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Support the CEO in managing and executing business development efforts, including crafting statements of work (SOWs), business pitches, proposals, and RFP responses.

  • Proposal and RFP Writing: Collaborate with the CEO and senior team members to write compelling proposals and RFP responses that are well-structured, on-brand, and strategically aligned.

  • Campaign and Project Support: Assist in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, contributing to client projects and internal marketing efforts.

  • Market and Client Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform proposals, campaigns, and new business pitches.

  • Performance Reporting: Track campaign metrics and assist in creating reports, analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

  • Content Development: Work with content and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across all client and internal channels.

  • Client and Team Communication: Participate in meetings, capture insights, and ensure timely follow-up.

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the CEO, managing schedules, budgets, and materials for pitches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably within an agency or fast-paced environment (internship experience considered)

  • Strong written communication skills, with experience in proposal or business writing preferred

  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, CRM, project management software)

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail

  • Collaborative, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a results-oriented approach
