We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team and work directly with the CEO to manage our financial operations, maintain our financial integrity, and support our growth.
Position Overview:
As Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in managing the agency’s financial records, overseeing transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for organizing and maintaining financial data, processing invoices and payroll, and collaborating with Schneider Downs for tax and wealth management. This role is ideal for a proactive QuickBooks expert with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accountability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

QuickBooks Management: Process transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports using QuickBooks.

Invoicing and Payroll: Prepare and issue client invoices, process payments, and manage payroll for our team.

Expense Tracking and Budgeting: Monitor expenses, categorize transactions, and assist the CEO with budget tracking and cash flow management.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, presenting insights and findings directly to the CEO.

Collaboration with Schneider Downs: Coordinate with Schneider Downs on tax preparation, wealth management, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Document Management: Organize and maintain financial records and documentation in Google Docs, ensuring all files are current and easily accessible.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficient bookkeeping processes and maintain accurate records of internal financial practices.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a track record of accuracy, accountability, and integrity

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Docs, with a solid understanding of accounting principles

Demonstrated experience in handling invoicing, payroll, financial reporting, and reconciliations

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to the CEO and other stakeholders

Experience collaborating with external financial partners (experience with Schneider Downs or similar firms is a plus)
